The Golden Green Foundation exists to create the life-changing bond between people and dogs — responsibly, transparently, and with genuine care for everyone involved.
Our Mission: Transforming Lives Through Canine Companionship
The Golden Green Foundation grew from a simple belief: the companionship of a dog can bring comfort, confidence, and hope to people navigating difficult circumstances. Our founder saw this firsthand through Sunny, a Golden Canine whose presence brightened every day.
We exist to extend that bond to others — first responders, people with disabilities or special needs, children and young adults in foster care, veterans when applicable, and individuals experiencing hardship, isolation, or grief.
Responsible canine companionship
We use the terms "companion dog," "supportive companion," or "Golden Canine" unless a dog has completed the training and certification legally required for a more specific designation.
We do not claim that a dog can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition. Our dogs offer companionship — not a substitute for professional care.
